| Types of Projects Students can do anything from a report to a demonstration or a model. They may also consider a more original approach such as an experiment, an innovation or a study. An experiment is an investigation. An innovation or invention is something they build, like a model or a device. A study involves extensive research of a topic that is already well known. It may also include a demonstration. |
