Team East Kootenay Finds Success at Canada-Wide Science Fair
Congratulations to Keltie Murdoch and Madalon Burnett who received a Bronze Medal in the Intermediate Category at the Canada-Wide Science Fair 2011 in Toronto, ON. The 50th Anniversary of this National Competition took place in Toronto, ON May 14-21. Murdoch and Burnett were joined by Chris Lavery and Matt Lavery who both competed well in their categories. All students took part in science activities, networked with other young scientists from across the country, toured the city of Toronto and took part in the toughest and highest callibre scientific competition for young scientists in all of Canada. For more information on their projects see the project abstracts below. Thank you to all of our sponsors and partners for making the East Kootenay Regional Science Fair 2011 possible and for supporting Team East Kootenay to its best show at the Canada-Wide Science Fair 2011 that we have seen in a long while.
